Nextop is an online B2B marketplace for machinery buyers and suppliers.
I was approached by a client who had a concept for a marketplace application. Their vision was to develop a platform that connects buyers and sellers of industrial machinery, functioning as a matchmaking service.
The objective was to establish a marketplace where buyers can discover machinery tools and communicate their specific requirements to receive offers. Meanwhile, sellers and suppliers would have the opportunity to showcase their company profiles and list their products online, effectively promoting their offerings.

In 2018, Taiwan ranked 5th as a machinery tool exporter globally, with a market value of $3.67 billion, marking a 5% growth from the previous year. Noticing the absence of a domestic online marketplace, my client Nextop wanted to explore the potential of developing one. The goal was to create a marketplace that could also tap into the emerging markets of Thailand and Vietnam in Southeast Asia. By capitalizing on these opportunities, Nextop aimed to facilitate trades in the machinery sector across multiple regions.
